During December 1st-3rd, the first China Industrial Design Exhibition was held in Wuhan, bringing together over 500 enterprises across China to show industrial design and industrial civilization results.
This has been the first state-level design exhibition since Wuhan was selected as the “City of Design”. It was organized under the guidance of MIIT and Wuhan Municipal People’s Government and themed “Innovation, Green and Development”.
BLT and AVIC First Aircraft Institute are only two Shaanxi companies winning special booths.
On the opening day, the Expert Group led by Professor Liu Guanzhong, known as the “Father of China Industrial Design”, visited 200+ present enterprises for selecting the First China Outstanding Industrial Design Work Prize.
BLT showed the Expert Group its Metal AM machine BLT-S310, which features a build dimension of 250mm×250mm×400mm, a stable system, a strong human-machine interaction, and the availability to unattended run for 24 consecutive hours.
After a series of competitions, among 200+ participating works, BLT-S310, together with the works of 12 companies such as CRRC, COMAC, Media, Haier and Xiaomi were awarded the First China Outstanding Industrial Design Work Prize.
Designers have integrated international first-class brand lasers, precision optical components, control parts, software, etc. reasonably to form a well-placed modular function system composed of forming system, purification system and control system in alignment with the scientific inner structure design to make the exterior solid and reliable, while considering production and personnel safety for more convenient and efficient daily maintenance.
In an extremely simple appearance design style, BLT-S310 uses interlaced curves and planes and changed materials to clearly convey the division of functions to users. The ergonomic detail processing has effectively escalated the operation efficiency.
The Expert Group stayed at BLT booth for a long time. They carefully examined the one-time printed 1m-long hollow aero-engine blade and precise titanium alloy soft armor and also the Inspiration Jewelries in cooperation with XUBERANCE BRIGHTEN.
